Cache-cache (Hide and Seek) is part of the At a Glance collection. In this textile artwork, Christine Grenier plays with fabrics, colors, and textures, letting whimsy guide each gesture. Dyeing, painting, embroidery… every technique becomes part of the game, where the inner child is free to play and to marvel.

Constructed in three layers like a quilt, machine-quilted and hand-embroidered, the piece vibrates with texture and color. Its black border, painted with leaves and adorned with embroidered stems, frames this small world like a storybook page ready to be explored.

Ready to hang with a back sleeve for a rod, Cache-cache invites movement and curiosity: hares and squirrel dart, hide, and reappear, drawing the viewer into a playful, colorful chase where every detail holds its own little surprise.
