Driven by an artistic sense, a sensitivity to beauty and a color all their own, 17 photographers from the Club de photographie des Collines and 26 painters from CARA have joined forces in this ambitious and colorful project.
The exhibition Our Natural Beauties, Photographer Meets Painter was born of a dream by CARA’s president to bring these two visual arts fields together in a common project to showcase nature’s inspiring beauty. On the one hand, the photographer offers the painter a vision, and on the other, the painter is inspired by it, adding his soul and a personal touch to his creation. What unites these artists is not their training, nor their style, nor even their artistic field, but their love of their art and their beautiful region.
In this challenge, I had the pleasure of creating a textile art painting inspired by Marco Levasseur‘s magnificent photo.
This generous photographer offered to show me several of his photos, which was very inspiring for the staging of the various elements of the painting.
