Forgotten Memories

La mémoire du vent is a unique textile artwork created as part of the Les mémoires oubliées collection. Like all the pieces in this series, the painting begins with a fabric dyed by Christine herself, chosen for its warm hues and the spontaneous poetry created by color.

The piece is assembled in three layers, like a quilt: a top fabric, a fleece and a bottom fabric. Loose quilting transforms the needle into a pencil, tracing organic lines that evoke waving grasses in a warm wind. Colored threads follow the movement of the dyed motifs, creating an interior landscape.

Mounted on a gallery canvas, La mémoire du vent is ready to hang, offering a gentle moment of connection with oneself.
